Our Achievements

• FICCI organized an Interactive Roundtable on "Industry - Academia Convergence: Bridging the Skill Gap" on November 23, 2006 in New Delhi to provide platform for interaction and discussions on developing modalities for better linkages between Corporates and FICCI - HEN Members. About 60 participants attended the roundtable from the corporate sector and higher education institutions.
  
  
• Education delegation to Los Angeles, California, USA to participate in US-India Business Seminar and Exhibition on 21st and 22nd August 2006.
  
  
• A Roundtable on Reservation in Higher Education Institutions was organized on May 5, 2006 in New Delhi. About 25 members FICCI - HEN met for the first time to discuss and propose a way forward on the Government's proposal to pave way for caste based reservation in private unaided educational institution and to introduce 49.5% reservation in IITs, IIMs and central universities. The recommendations emerging out of the discussions have been submitted to the Planning Commission and Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India.
