FICCI-HEN

FICCI - Higher Education Network (FICCI - HEN) is a move to introduce a system of self - regulation amongst Higher Education providers in India by introducing Code of Conduct to promote best practices and Disclosure Norms to address the information asymmetry in the sector.

FICCI - HEN was launched by Mr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, Government of India on March 23rd, 2006 at FICCI's Higher Education Summit 2006 in New Delhi.

The aim of FICCI - HEN is to be an opinion forum to influence policy change for healthy growth of Higher Education in the country and provide the missing link between the academia and the industry. About 30 leading Higher Education Institutions have formally registered as active members.
